Zawadi Hotel’s site presents an exclusive, luxury beachfront villa retreat on Zanzibar’s southeast coast. The design emphasises tranquillity, seclusion, and ocean vistas. The site highlights private villas, gourmet dining, spa treatments, curated experiences, and a high level of personalized service in an adults-only setting.

Zawadi boasts twelve private ocean-front villas, each about 100 m², offering direct views over the Indian Ocean. Every villa features an en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower, a large terrace surrounded by lush bougainvillea and palms, and a private plunge pool facing the sea. Inside, guests enjoy spacious seating areas, generously sized double beds with memory foam mattresses, large closets, walk-in showers, free-standing bathtubs, double-sink vanities, and high-end finishes throughout.

Suites are not available.

At Zawadi, dining is a celebration of Zanzibar’s rich culinary heritage. The cuisine weaves together Swahili, African, Indian, Arabic, and Persian influences, using seasonal, local produce to deliver fresh, vibrant flavours.
